About GIANCARLO
MY STORY
Born and raised in Switzerland, I have a passion for story-telling and visual design, particularly in film.
With over 15 years of experience in feature film and television production on a global scale, I have been involved in all aspects of media production, including script
breakdown, bidding, pre-production, live action, virtual sets, mocap, animation, stereoscopic, visual effects, and post production. I have supervised VFX projects ranging from 500 to 2000 shots and have extensive knowledge in set supervision, post production workflow, 2D & 3D workflow.
My work has been created in collaboration with major studios including AGBO, Entertainment One, Amazon, YouTube Red, Wanda, Lakeshore Entertainment, Lionsgate, Twentieth Century Fox, Marvel, Lighthouse, Warner Bros, Village Road Show, A&E, Bazmark, Columbia, Aardman Animation, and Sony Pictures.
Over the years, my projects have been recognized internationally with awards such as the nomination Oscar for Animation, Oscar for Visual Effects, and Canadian Academy for Visual Effects.ar for Visual Effects, and Canadian Academy for Visual Effects.
